Como todos los 22 de noviembre desde el año 1991, hoy se celebra en Chile el Día de la Educación Parvularia y del Educador de Párvulos, fecha que conmemora la creación de la primera escuela de Educación Parvularia de la Universidad de Chile en 1951, y que busca concientizar sobre el importante rol que juegan estos profesionales en el sistema educativo nacional.
