Surge como una respuesta pol\u00edtica hacia distintos mecanismos que el sistema tradicionalista utiliza contra quienes se “desv\u00edan” de la heteronormatividad: la verg\u00fcenza, la exclusi\u00f3n y las agresiones f\u00edsicas que pueden llegar hasta la muerte de la v\u00edctima. Desde un punto de vista ling\u00fc\u00edstico, el t\u00e9rmino \u00aborgullo\u00bb<\/strong> designa ‘el amor propio o la estima que cada persona tiene de s\u00ed misma como merecedora de respeto o consideraci\u00f3n’. Esta definici\u00f3n transmite la idea de una dignidad intr\u00ednseca que todo ser humano posee y que no debe verse afectada por su conducta o por su orientaci\u00f3n sexual.
